The new season is a great reason to make and keep resolutions. Whether it’s eating well or cleaning out the garage, here are some tips for making and keeping resolutions.
Lists are great ways to stay on track. Write down some big things you want to accomplish and some smaller things, too.
Don’t forget to check in and see how you’re doing. Just because you don’t achieve the big goals right away doesn’t mean you’re not making progress.
When you succeed in achieving a goal, be it a big one or a small one, make sure to pat yourself on the back.
Positive thinking is a major factor in success. So instead of mulling over things that didn’t go quite right, remind yourself of things that did.
“The lessons during the Empowerment Seminar will stick with me for years to come. Breaking out of my comfort zone isn’t always easy, which is why I tend to avoid it! However, I found that pushing the boundaries helped me understand what I’m capable of if I set aside my fears. Challenging myself made me feel stronger and more self-confident than ever!”

“I’ve never took part in a session like Duka’s before now, so I didn’t know what to expect. It was an experience like no other and definitely one that helped me challenge my own reservations. Learning how to get outside my own head and tackle difficult obstacles was invaluable and I have no doubt it will help me moving forward within my own life and career. Showing me that by overcoming the day-to-day fears life can bring, will only be beneficial to my productivity, life and happiness. I can’t recommend it highly enough and it’s defiantly something I would pass onto other to try. We all need a bit more ‘Let it be easy!’ in our lives.”
